President Obama wants his healthcare overhaul bill passed before August recess. Many believe that the reason Obama is so interested in getting the bill passed now is because it won’t get passed once it is read and the public starts to understand its implications. An argument along those lines can certainly be made for the $787 Billion stimulus package which has had no effect except to grow the country’s deficit and debt. Bob Rinear joins Dr. DeSilva with his outlook on this bill.
