Dr. Joseph Pulliam is Vice-President, Medical Affairs for Home Therapies of Fresenius Medical Care, operator of the nation’s leading network of dialysis facilities. In this role, Dr. Pulliam’s responsibilities include Home Program quality and growth, Treatment Options Program education, and editor of the Fresenius Medical Care Medical Staff newsletter. Dr. Pulliam was a nephrologist in private practice in Portland, Oregon for 15 years, opening two peritoneal dialysis clinics and serving as their Medical Director.

Prior to his work with Fresenius Medical Care, Dr. Pulliam worked as Associate Medical Officer with Renal Care Group and also served as the Chief Executive Officer with Pacific Northwest Renal Services. Dr. Pulliam is an experienced researcher and has been published in major medical journals across the nation.
