Dr. Jeffrey Klausner and Dr. Susan Philip discuss teen pregnancy, STDs, contraception, sexual health literacy, intimacy and sexual wellness for young people.

Jeffrey D. Klausner, M.D., M.P.H. is the director of the STD Prevention and Control Services at the San Francisco Department of Public Health. He practices at and is the medical director of City Clinic. He also has an AIDS practice at UCSF-San Francisco General Hospital, where he is an attending physician. He is an Associate Clinical Professor who teaches AIDS, medicine and infectious diseases at the University of California - San Francisco School of Medicine. He is an author of over 80 scientific articles on STDs, HIV and prevention, and a well-known expert in HIV prevention and STDs in gay men and young adults.


Susan Philip, M.D., M.P.H. is the Medical Director of the San Francisco City Clinic, which is run by the San Francisco Department of Public Health. She also serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of California - San Francisco School of Medicine.
