After Dr. Ludema graduated from Wayne State University Medical School, he interned at William Beaumont Hospital in Michigan. He completed both his residency in 1986 and his fellowship in 1987 in neurology at the University of California Los Angeles, and is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
