Dr. Thomas Swoboda is a Clinical Associate Professor and Residency Program Director in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, LA. He received his medical degree at Wayne State University School of Medicine, his Graduate degree at Brown University in Rhode Island and his undergraduate at Dartmouth. He is board certified by ABEM. His academic interests include graduate medical education, effective assessment techniques, effective teaching techniques, psychiatric emergencies, social issues of ED patients, epistaxis, sedation-analgesia, and pain management
