Jeanne Homer graduated from Smith College with a degree in Russian and for the next several years she was a software developer.
She became interested in cancer genetics after her father was diagnosed with cancer in 1990. Jeanne then pursued a masters degree in genetic counseling from UC Irvine and became a board certified genetic counselor.
Jeanne is the coordinator of the Hereditary Cancer Program at Hoag Cancer Center.
