Dr. Matt Rice is a practicing emergency physician in the Seattle, Washington area. He is a consultant in emergency medicine and risk management as well as assistant clinical professor at the University of Washington in Seattle. Dr. Rice has served as CEO of Northwest Emergency Physicians of Team Health as well as the emergency department director for St. Clare Hospital in Lakewood, Washington. Dr. Rice has authored several articles on emergency medicine in publications such as Annals of Emergency Medicine, American Journal of Emergency Medicine and Academic Emergency Medicine, among others.
