Heart Disease: Detection and Prevention
Topic Info
NY-based cardiologist, Dr. Leonard Moss is using a simple test to determine early risk of heart disease. It’s called the PLAC Test and is the only FDA-approved blood test that helps identify hidden risk for heart attack and stroke. Dr. Moss is joined by his patient, Andrea, a 37 year-old NYC resident who never thought she would be at a high risk for heart disease or stroke. That was until she started noticing an irregular heart beat and odd palpitations and had the PLAC Test. This test may have saved her life! They join the show to share their story.
