Kristie Sullivan, M.P.H., is a scientific and policy adviser with the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM), a nationwide organization of physicians and laypersons that promotes preventive medicine, especially good nutrition, and addresses contro­versies in modern medicine, including ethical issues in research.

As a scientific and policy adviser, Ms. Sullivan promotes alternatives to the use of animals in research and testing and assists in the review and preparation of comments on the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) High Production Volume Chemical Challenge Program (HPV), and other related federal programs and initiatives, such as the EPA’s pesticide Registration Review evaluation program. In 2006, Ms. Sullivan was nominated to serve as the Animal Protection representative on the EPA’s Pesticide Program Dialog Committee, a public advisory committee that advises the EPA on pesticide issues.
