DAVID SHIN, M.D. -

Dr. Shin is Chief of the Center for Sexual Health & Fertility in the Department of Urology at Hackensack University Medical Center. He is an Assistant Professor of Urology at Touro University College of Medicine and is Board Certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Urology. Dr. Shin received his undergraduate education at Cornell University, graduating with Distinction. He received his medical degree with Honors in Research from Weill-Cornell University Medical College. He completed his general surgical and urologic residency training at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He then joined the faculty at Yale University School of Medicine as an Instructor in Surgery/Urology. In 2003, Dr. Shin went on to complete a prestigious fellowship in Male Reproductive Medicine and Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Dr. Shin’s area of expertise includes medical and surgical treatments for male infertility and sexual dysfunction. He is experienced in the hormonal evaluation and medical management of the infertile male with emphasis on couples having difficulty achieving pregnancy. Dr. Shin also specializes in the evaluation and treatment of men’s health issues such as erectile dysfunction, hypogonadism (low testosterone level), ejaculatory disorders, Peyronie’s disease, testis cancer and BPH. As a leader in the area of reproductive and sexual health, Dr. Shin is a frequent guest lecturer. He has won numerous awards and is widely published, presenting his research at national and international meetings for the American Urological Association, American Society for Reproductive Medicine and the National Men’s Health Conference.
