Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a chronic and progressive disease that affects approximately 400,000 Americans and as many as 2.1 million individuals worldwide. MS is 2-3 times more common in women than men and symptoms include weakness, fatigue and mobility issues. The first World MS Day on May 27th will bring together MS organizations around the world to raise awareness for MS and the importance of the global MS movement.
