Dr. Sally Cram is a consumer adviser for the American Dental Association (ADA), a professional organization representing approximately 155,000 U.S. dentists.
Dr. Cram maintains a private practice in Washington, D.C., is a member and former president of the District of Columbia Dental Society and a fellow in the American and International Colleges of Dentistry. Dr. Cram served as an adjunct professor in the Department of Periodontics at Georgetown Dental School for four years and lectured at Northern Virginia Community College for two years. In addition, Dr. Cram served as an examiner for the Northeast Regional Board of Dentistry from 1995 to 2002.
As a national spokesperson for the ADA since 2001, Dr. Cram has represented the ADA in local and national print and television interviews regarding dentistry.
Dr. Cram earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from William Smith College in Geneva, N.Y., a doctor of dental surgery degree from Georgetown University School of Dentistry in Washington, D.C., and specialty training in periodontics from the University of Texas Health Science Center, School of Dentistry in San Antonio.
