Finally there is a recovered "cutter" who has come out into the light and wrote about her 30+ year struggle with this disorder. Vanessa Vega, former successful model, mother of young children and current high school English teacher spent her entire life hiding her pain and fought to find help. She could not find any voice from fellow cutters, only books for and by shrinks, none of which could reach her.
