Frank Tu, M.D., M.P.H., is a board certified obstetrician and gynecologist at ENH, specializing in endometriosis/fibroids, robotic surgery and pelvic pain. He received his Doctorate of Medicine, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Alabama in 1998 and a Masters in Public Health from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill in 2004. He completed an Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery Fellowship at the Chapel Hill campus that same year. Dr. Tu is Director of Gynecological Pain and Minimally Invasive Surgery at ENH, a position he was appointed to in 2004. He is also an assistant professor at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine. In 2006, Dr. Tu was awarded top honors for Best Original Research, “Physical Therapy Evaluation of Chronic Pelvic Pain Patients: A Controlled Study,” from the International Pelvic Pain Society. A year later he was named one of America’s top obstetricians and gynecologists. Dr. Tu is a top researcher in the study, management and treatment of chronic pelvic pain.
