Strength Training, Your Compete Exercise Rx!
Topic Info
Weight training can help you tone your muscles, improve your appearance and fight age-related muscle loss, and weight training doesn't take as long as you might think.

Research has shown that strengthening exercises are both safe and effective for women and men of all ages, including those who are not in perfect health. In fact, people with health concerns—including heart disease or arthritis—often benefit the most from an exercise program that includes lifting weights a few times each week.

Dr.Kent Adams, Ph.D., FACSM comes on the show to discuss the latest research and findings on the benefits of Strength Training, and to give us an Exercise Rx for a complete STrength Training regimen.
