Jeffery Ross, M.D., FACSM, is a doctor of podiatric medicine and surgery, and serves as director of the Medical Center for Foot Specialists. He is an assistant clinical professor at Baylor College of Medicine and the podiatric attending chief of the Diabetic Foot Clinic at Ben Taub County Hospital. Ross is a member of the Harris County, Texas and American Podiatric Medical Associations. A Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine, he also is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and serves as president of the southwest region. Ross is a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, and serves on the advisory board of the American Medical Athletic and Running Association. He serves as co-chair of the Governor's Advisory Council on Fitness and Exercise, and is a former member of the Texas Diabetes Council. He is an ambassador to the Department of Health and Human Services CCD VERB program on childhood activity. A graduate of the University of Rhode Island, he received a medical degree in podiatric medicine from New York College of Podiatric Medicine and a medical degree from the University of Health Sciences Antigua School of Medicine.
