Dr. Lesley White, FACSM comes on the show to discuss the latest research on Exercise and MS.

Lesley White received her doctoral degree in exercise physiology from the University of New Mexico in 1999.
She is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Kinesiology at the University of Georgia.
Her research is dedicated to identifying mechanisms and outcomes of therapies that are effective in reducing complications of disability in people with multiple sclerosis (MS). She is a pioneer in the application of resistance training to prevent muscle loss and attenuate disability in MS. Her work is sponsored by the National Multiple sclerosis Society. She has been a member of the National Board of Rehabilitation Research for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and a Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine.
