Almost every teen has a cell phone these days, which means texting and distractions while driving, which can lead to accidents, serious injury or death. Professor of Emergency Medicine and Public Health for George Washington University, Dr. Mary Pat McKay joins the show with tips on keeping your new teen drivers safe.

Dr. Mary Pat McKay is a Professor of Emergency Medicine and Public Health at The George Washington University where she is also named the Director of the Center for Injury Prevention and Control. In addition to caring for patients in the Emergency Department, she has focused her research career on traffic safety including such topics as airbags, novice driver safety, prevention of drunk driving, and older drivers.
