Guest Info Since 1983, Dr. Mark Berman has been practicing Cosmetic Surgery, specializing in breast augmentation and fat-grafting, at his Los Angeles area office. Dr. Berman is the President of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and a diplomat with the American Board of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery, and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Berman pioneered the use of Gore-Tex™ (e-PTFE) materials for cosmetic surgery, and invented several patented surgical devices and implants, such as the Pocket Protector™ and the SAF-T-VAC™. Dr. Berman enjoys many different sporting activities, plays the guitar, and loves to read and write.
