Dr. Mark Berman, President of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery joins the show to share some insight on some of the biggest trends of 2009 and where cosmetic surgery is heading next.

Since 1983, Dr. Mark Berman has been practicing Cosmetic Surgery, specializing in breast augmentation and fat-grafting, at his Los Angeles area office. Dr. Berman is the President of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and a diplomat with the American Board of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery, and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Berman pioneered the use of Gore-Tex™ (e-PTFE) materials for cosmetic surgery, and invented several patented surgical devices and implants, such as the Pocket Protector™ and the SAF-T-VAC™. Dr. Berman enjoys many different sporting activities, plays the guitar, and loves to read and write. He has written a comprehensive book on Cosmetic Surgery, What you Really Need to Know About Cosmetic Surgery.
