Complex Rehabilitation Wheelchairs and Seating
Topic Info
In the face of ever decreasing reimbursement rates and heavier regulatory and paperwork burdens, all intended to drive down costs and combat waste, fraud, and abuse, the Complex Rehab industry has put forth an initiative to carve out complex rehabilitation equipment from DME and create its own benefit category within Medicare. The hope is, it will ensure long term access to high quality equipment and services necessary to maximize the independence of wheelchair users.
