Dr. Jeffrey Yoshida, Associate Medical Director of Urologic Oncology at Hoag Hospital joins the show to discuss the latest advancements in prostate cancer detection, treatment and surgeries!

Jeffrey Yoshida, M.D., Associate Medical Director, Urologic Oncology -

Jeffrey Yoshida, M.D., completed his urologic oncology fellowship at the City of Hope National Cancer Center. He completed medical school and urology residency at Loma Linda University.

Dr. Yoshida is board certified in urology and has practiced as a urologic oncologist since completing his fellowship in 2004. His specialties include minimally invasive surgery for urologic malignancies such as prostate, kidney and testes cancer. While at the City of Hope, he was an assistant clinical professor in the department of urologic oncology and also had a leadership role in the kidney cancer program there.

Dr. Yoshida is an expert in the use of the da Vinci robotic surgical system and has vast experience in robotic-assisted procedures such as robotic-assisted radical prostatectomy, radical nephrectomy and partial nephrectomy.
