Major Developmental Milestones in Children
Skills such as taking a first step, smiling for the first time, and waving "bye bye" are called developmental milestones. Children reach milestones in how they play, learn, speak, behave, and move (crawling, walking, etc.).
A child's development can be followed by how she or he plays, learns, speaks, and acts. Parents play a critical role in their child's development. Providing a safe and loving home and spending time together - playing, singing, reading, and even just talking - can make a big difference.
Dr Dan Levy comes on the show to discuss these developemental milestones. He will also discuss our teens mindset and why they do the things that teens do!
