Neonatal Outreach Coordinator, Seattle Children's Hospital Jeanette Zaichkin has been a neonatal nurse for more than 30 years. She graduated from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, WA, and received her master’s degree from the University of Washington in Seattle. Jeanette has worked as a staff nurse and clinical nurse specialist in a variety of settings, including community hospitals and major medical centers. She has numerous publications and also serves as a consultant and editor for the American Academy of Pediatrics Neonatal Resuscitation Program. Jeanette is the neonatal outreach coordinator at Seattle Children’s Hospital, where she facilitates education and consultation for health care providers caring for sick and premature infants and their families in Washington, Alaska, Montana, and Idaho. Gary M. Weiner, MD Associate Clinical Professor Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Ann Arbor, MI Wayne State University School of Medicine, Detroit, MI Dr Weiner is a practicing, board certified neonatologist at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan and Associate Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP), member of the AAP's Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Steering Committee, and a member of the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation neonatal delegation. He has been a contributing editor/author of the NRP Provider Textbook, NRP Instructor Manual, NRP instructional DVD's, and the recently released "Newborn Intensive Care: What Every Parent Needs to Know" (3rd ed).
