Syed Naseeruddin, M.D., a board-certified family medicine and sports medicine physician comes on the show to discuss Chronic Back Pain and Nerve Stimulators. He will give valuable advice on Chronic back pain - causes and initial treatment options, how nerve stimulators work, when to pursue nerve stimulators as a treatment option and what other pain management options are out there if nerve stimulators fail.

Syed Naseeruddin, M.D., is a board-certified family medicine and sports medicine physician. After completing undergraduate work at Georgia Tech, he enrolled at the Medical College of Georgia to obtain his medical degree. Dr. Syed served in the U.S. Air Force for five years during Operation Desert Shield. He then completed his residency training in family medicine through Dartmouth University in Maine. Following his residency, he completed a Sports Medicine Fellowship in Pittsburgh through Drexel University where he was part of the Pittsburgh Pirates medical coverage team.

Dr. Syed moved to Clarksville, Tennessee, after completing his fellowship in 2008. He enjoys sports and photography, and still volunteers to cover NCAA gymnastics meets throughout the country. He specializes in musculoskeletal medicine and enjoys caring for medical issues in athletes and weekend warriors alike. Dr. Syed is a member in good standing in the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, the American College of Sports Medicine, the American Institute of Ultrasound Medicine and the Uniformed Services Academy of Family Physicians.
