Actor, Dan Cortese joins the show to discuss his new reality weight loss competition show and America's obesity epidemic and how to shed pounds!

Dan Cortese got his start as a host on MTV and later went on to costar with Kirstie Alley on NBC sitcom “Veronica’s Closet.” Cortese’s numerous television credits include “CSI,” “Seinfeld” (Elaine’s boyfriend that George had a “man crush” on), ” “The Single Guy,” and “Melrose Place.” He has also costarred in motion pictures with Brook Shields, Sylvester Stallone and Wesley Snipes.

Born and raised in New York, Richard Cascioli is not your typical gym trainer. He views physical fitness as an inside job, he believes that the key to change is working from the inside out, “if the mind isn’t focused, true change is impossible”.

If his 20+ years of experience as a certified fitness instructor, nutritionist and coach isn’t enough for you, he also has 18 years of experience in self-defense and as a fighting instructor with black belts in Kyokoshinkai, Krav Maga, Muai Thai, Jujitsu, Karate and Taekwondo.

Impressed by his credentials and extensive background in training, VH1 knew that Cascioli would be the right trainer to get 12 teams of 2 into tip-top shape in just 3 months on the new hit show Money Hungry.
