Kathryn R. Simpson, M.S., has spent the last nine years conducting endocrine research after being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and finding that her symptoms were caused by multiple hormonal deficiencies. Resolving these deficiencies has led to complete resolution of all her symptoms.

In 2006, she founded a specialty hormone clinic with a doctor partner to treat thyroid disorders and hormone imbalance as well as diseases such as MS, Lupus and fibromyalgia. She used her research and anecdotal experience at the clinic to write The Perimenopause & Menopause Workbook published by New Harbinger Publications in 2006. Prior to this, she was CEO Cerulean Pharmaceutical, a company focused on research and development of therapies for treatment of endocrine related disorders. In the twenty years preceding this, Ms. Simpson held executive positions in the biotech and technology industries. Ms. Simpson received a Bachelor's degree from Ohio Wesleyan University and a Masters of Science degree from USC.
