Dr. is a Professorial Lecturer in the School of Public Health at The George Washington University and serves on numerous boards of trustees. She is the recipient of an honorary doctorate in public policy from Carnegie Mellon University and the Presidential Medal of The George Washington University. She has been recognized numerous times for her achievements and is also an author of many articles, essays, and a book.
