Guest Info
Ann Costello understands. In April 2008, Costello received the phone call that would change her life forever. As she heard the voice of her 25-year-old daughter, Deirdre, on the other line, she couldn’t believe what she heard, “Mom, I have leukemia.” Less than two months later, she was gone. Costello, author of "Her Candle Burns at Both Ends", was devastated. .....................

Ann Costello worked as an intensive care nurse for twenty-five years. For the past seven years, she has performed nursing assignments in various small communities throughout the Canadian Arctic. She was born and brought up in County Limerick, Ireland, and moved to Canada in 1974. She currently lives in Halifax, Nova Scotia, where she enjoys traveling, golfing, dancing and reading.
