Cindy Laverty, known as the “the compassionate caregiver's best friend”, joins Danica to explain how to navigate the complex caregiver landscape that includes hospitals, doctors, insurance forms, prescription drugs and much more.

Cindy Laverty is the author of the book "Caregiving: Eldercare Made Clear & Simple." She's a media personality, author, public speaker and professional caregiver. Her “Cindy Laverty Show,” heard on KZSB AM 1290 in Santa Barbara, is one of the few radio show's heard anywhere dedicated to the subject of CARE – how we care for ourselves so we can better care for others. Ms. Laverty is the founder of The Care Company, a Southern California-based caregiver consultancy that teaches others how to manage complex medical and insurance systems to avoid getting lost or abused by them.
