Adam R. Kendall, M.D., is the Program Development Advisor of the Palliative Care Program at Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach, California. He is a Board Certified Palliative Care Specialist with a background in Family Practice Medicine. Dr. Kendall graduated magna cum laude from the University of California, San Diego, where he received his B.S. in molecular biology. Following UCSD, Dr. Kendall earned an M.D., M.P.H. joint degree from the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine. Dr. Kendall also completed a residency in family practice in the Stanislaus Family Practice Program, and was a Palliative Care Fellow at the ACGME accredited Palliative Care Fellowship at Stanford University and the VA Palo Alto Medical Center. Prior to Hoag, Dr. Kendall was Associate Hospice Medical Director for Legacy Health System and helped develop a palliative care program at Legacy Meridian Park Hospital. Throughout his career, he has been an active participant in hospice and palliative care education, speaking nationally and locally to communities, hospitals and teaching institutions.
