One woman dies in this country nearly every minute due to heart disease, killing approximately 450,000 women each year. What makes these statistics even worse is that heart disease remains largely preventable if women take action to make the right choices for their heart. The American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women movement is announcing a new tool to give women the support they need to survive and succeed – Go Red BetterU. The Go Red BetterU program is a free online tool that gives women daily guidance to make over their health through small, simple choices. The program gives women the opportunity to achieve a better state of well-being and heart health in just 12 weeks.
