The idea of MEDICAL ANGELS came to co-founder, Jim Ressler, when he realized the electronic wheelchair his father used, until he passed away a few years ago, was simply sitting in a garage collecting dust. He was sure there was someone out there that could use it and within a matter of hours he found someone who needed it but could not afford it. He happily gave that person the electric wheelchair and the idea was born. From finding a use for his father’ s wheelchair, to personally helping unload valuable supplies in Haiti 6 times this year – the charity Jim and MEDICAL ANGLES reach, is vastly growing. Being responsible for donated goods in the US to Africa, Jim’ s first hand accounts of giving back to those in need, never cease to amaze.
