Topic Info
Joyce M. Lee, M.D., M.P.H., assistant professor of pediatrics and communicable diseases at the U-M Medical School and a clinician at U-M C.S. Mott Children's Hospital comes on the show to discuss the disparities in minority children when it comes to treatment of childhood obesity.

She will discuss how The White House's Childhood Obesity Task Force must focus on providing treatment for minority children. She feels the effort to eliminate childhood obesity requires legislative support of treatment and prevention services in that so many children are already obese, there needs to be greater efforts focused on treatment.
