Getting The Proper Sleep Can Make You Healthier!
Topic Info
A recent study found there is an increase in traffic accidents across the United States the Monday after we “spring forward.” Supporting this correlation is research conducted at Queen’s College in Canada, which shows the level of impairment for sleep-deprived drivers is comparable to those who drive drunk. Studies also show that sleep deprivation increases the likelihood and severity of on-the-job accidents. And, in general, lack of sleep affects overall cognition, as well as the ability to maintain a positive mood and make good decisions. The bottom line - even losing one hour can negatively impact a person.
