Dr. Calin Moucha, M.D.

Dr. Calin Moucha, orthopaedic surgeon and spokesperson for the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) joins the show to discuss precautions and recommendations for joint replacement patients when traveling by air. He will provide tips to help prevent pain and discomfort before, during and after travel.

Dr. Calin S. Moucha is the Associate Chief of Joint Replacement Surgery in The Peter and Leni May Department Orthopaedic Surgery and spokesperson for the AAOS. Dr. Moucha is a Board Certified, Fellowship trained hip & knee replacement specialist. He joined Mount Sinai after almost six years as the Chief of the Adult Joint Replacement & Reconstruction Division in the Department of Orthopaedics of New Jersey Medical School, University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey. He completed his undergraduate education at Cornell University and then earned his medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine.
