Aggressive Behaviors in Children
If your preschooler lets out his frustration by biting, hitting or kicking, he may need more than a time-out. Dr. Seth Scholer, MD, MPH, comes on the show to discuss some very important strategies for handling an aggressive preschooler. He will also discuss some of the better froms of discipline for the difficult child.
Dr. Seth Scholer is an associate professor of pediatrics at Vanderbilt University. Dr. Scholer completed medical school at Indiana University and a residency in pediatrics at Duke University. He obtained a master of public health at Indiana University. Since starting at Vanderbilt University in 1995, Dr. Scholer has been an active clinician, educator, and researcher. His research focuses on how to improve pediatric primary care services in the area of injury and violence prevention. Dr. Scholer serves on the American Academy of Pediatrics' Committee on Injury, Violence and Poison Prevention.
